Barn

The rich color of this barn stands out along a country road in upstate New York. It could not be called a country road unless scenes like this barn appear every few miles.

Hay Field

Already cut, rolled, and bailed, this hay field seems to go on forever. This scene is common along country roads including this photograph taken in western Massachusetts.

General Store

Obviously abandoned long ago, this country store brings back memories of a time long gone when you could walk or ride (your horse) down to the local country or general stroe and get just about anything.

Farm View

As the sun sets, this farm equipment stands idle waiting for the next sunrise when the farm will become active again.

Country Barn

Along Route 28 in upstate New York, this barn and silo are typical of the sites seen on country roads.

Country Barn

The bright red of the barns and home make a striking contrast with the blue of the sky and barren fields.

Sepia-Country Barn

A close-up view of the barns from image 1236 but the image has been digitally enhanced to show as in vintage sepia. This image is available in full color, Black & White, or Sepia as shown.

GreenFarmHouse

So many barns are painted the same shade of red that paint companies often have a color designated as Barn Red. This green barn is a striking exception to the rule and looks rather good against the grassy knoll just behind.

GreenFarmHouse

Another view of the Green Barn in image 1239, this view adds some color by capturing the red leaves of the tree.

Country Stream

A foot bridge over a stream in the woods.

Country Barn

Take a drive to the Country and what do you expect to see? Cows, barns, and open spaces. This barn is a good example of the typical country barn. Do you smell the cows?
