Hawaii, Tahiti, or the Carribbean? Actually, this magnificent sunset was captured behind the Mills Masion in Staatsburg, New York. The trees in the foreground are hiding the view over the Hudson River, approximately 92 miles North of Manhattan. Images 1268 and 1269 are from the same location.

While spending a week in Grand Cayman to dive and complete work on his first underwater photography book, Joel was awakened one morning by brilliant moonlight. So, at 5:00 A.M. he grabbed his camera equipment and went outside to capture these magnificent images. This image is slightly brighter than Image #1028 and was taken later. Notice the sunrise lighting the clouds and the reflection of the moon on the water.
